Learn machining! We are having Mill/Lathe classes again!

Machining classes are back!

Come learn how to safely operate either our Bridgeport Mill or our metal Lathe! Which one will be decided by consensus between the teacher and the students, and then the other device will be taught during the next class (approximately 2 weeks later). We are striving to have a class once every two weeks, so if you don't catch the first one your wait won't be to long. You are welcome to take both so your ability to work metal is maximized. The two devices are complimentary in what they do.

After you take this class you will be allowed to use that machine during hack periods!

Space is limited to 3 people per class/instructor but that is to your advantage since the purpose is to make sure you get sufficient hands-on time.

To participate in the class you will be wearing ordinary clothing but there are specifics on what is safe clothing and what is not safe. Visit the webpage (Xerocraft.org) to see the list of must have/must not have's.
